Head Wind Home Ride

30 Saturday Jan 2016

I finished the day with an uphill ride home against a heavy head wind. Debris from the roads was blowing everywhere and a crosswind almost tipped me into traffic, it was kind of surreal.

It’s at the head of an oncoming storm that is taking us from a dry 68°F day to a snowy 32°F day.

One good thing about hauling cargo is the inertia, the wind doesn’t blow you back as much!

A beautiful lady-cyclist chased me East from downtown and up High street. She had a brisk pace, almost at my heals. Hope she wasn’t my guardian angel, you’re not supposed to go faster than your guardian angel.

I don’t know if the Inuit actually use that many words for snow and ice, but I sure could. I have a running catalog of definitions that help me keep the rubber side down.

I’ve been struggling to come up with a trademark. I entertained the notion about a year ago for creative enterprise and now it has become a necessity for one of my occupations.

Last year I came up with a combo word that would define my business. Last week I looked it up and it turned out to match a name for something that pre-existed.

I spent all week thinking of alternatives in the same pattern yet further reaching from my business focus and philosophy. So today, after seeing certain names, I realized I could construct a new word that kinda sounds like the original combination of words.
