I reveled in the timing of the truck break down being after winter, but the roads and mother nature have been throwing every thing they’ve got at me. It has challenged and strengthened my resolve to cycle-commute again.

My fifteen years of previous cycle commuting and recent tune-ups have made the transition somewhat smooth, but in the seven years since the west-side roads are in a state of advanced decay. I don’t have boots for fording the street streams and pools.

Once I acclimate I hope to get the cameras going again and capture the drama of the rain rides.
