The guy who sold me the kite sealed the deal when he told me I could pull myself across the lake on a boogie-board with it. I never got a boogie board, but I have a canoe so . . . .
It was a lot different from flying with a static position and hard to relaunch out in the water, but I found that the skeg keel allowed for good crosswind travel and I could vector control with the kite! I though I would have to get a quad-line kite for stuff like this!
